Well my goodness, your little journal turned out beautiful. So many bits and bobs fit in to such a small space. I love your little button pieces and how awesome that the buttons come from your moms button tin. We had one filled with really old buttons but I didn't get it, my sister took it and lost it somewhere along the way in one of her moves, which made me sad but it is what it is and no use crying over the loss. I'm very much in to making journals right now, I've just finished my first and I loved the process, I am still finishing it up with a few little pieces but if I may say so myself it turned out much better than I had imagined. Thanks for sharing the creative process with us Jane, and for the generous side of sending it off to one of your subscribers, someone will be very happy to receive it.

This has been really fun, Jane; even though I don't make journals, I ❤ watching the process. Collage does interest me although I haven't gotten past the stage of collecting a shoebox full of "fodder" for a later dat, perhaps 😉

Oh Jane, its coming together beautifully, I love all the little tags and tuck spots and of course all the bits and pieces you have used on the tags. I've noticed while making some journals that when I let my imagination run wild, it seems effortless to put it together, but when I think to hard about it, I'm stumped. I'm loving your little tag book so far, can't wait to see the finish.

Great tips,, Jane! Love just watching the process!! I don't have a desire to make a journal, but I DO want to try my hand at collage. Have shoebox full of "fodder" that I 've been collecting for about 4-6 months. We'll see what I do with it, and WHEN 😉🤔

What a neat little tag journal. I've been a little obcessed lately with making journals and collaging. I'm also back on the card making and having lots of fun with all of it. I just actually finished my first "semi-junk journal", I even hand sewed in a binding, not the best but not bad. I very much enjoyed watching this video and cannot wait to see how you finish it up. I love the "Vintage Style" and that stamp is perfectly vintage. I think the ribbon was pretty but much better without. Another gorgeous card using the Indigo Blu stamps, thanks for sharing it with us Jane. Hope you are having a great week, we are off to take care of my granddaughter tomorrow as she is having a hard time with her teething (molars are coming in) so she's been running fevers, so my daughter decided to keep her home for pre-school tomorrow (it's okay though we love watching her).

Ooh my ,strawberry slush was my 1st. In color set i purchased when i joined SU! Do u know what year that was released? I believe some of the other colors were cucumber crush, baked brown sugar, and at a lost for the other 3 colors lol 😆 9:36 am USA

Clean and simple and quite beautiful. I think I definitely need to take a better look at all of my stamp sets and their pieces and design some clean and simple cards myself. I'm the kind of stamper who gets all caught up with over-doing it with "just a little more", I just need to learn to stop when enough is enough. Thanks for sharing how little it really takes to create a great card.

Such a fun and creative way to mix and match your stamps. I have that floral set from SU, haven't used it in a good long time so I guess I need to pull it out soon and I have gorgeous grunge which you mentioned as a possible set to use for the background.
